Wrong-Way Driver Causes Crash on 694 | Crime

A car going the wrong way hit another vehicle on Interstate-694 overnight.

Police say the car was going westbound in the eastbound lanes of the interstate around 2 a.m. Thursday, just east of Interstate-35W.

The person who caused the accident fled the scene and was later arrested at the intersection of Victoria and County Road E after crashing her car, police say. She is at Ramsey County Jail for questioning and testing.

The other people involved in the crash were not injured. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating.
